Went out to the Charleston Sixty yesterday. Perfect sea conditons. Trolled everything we could (Ballyhoo, plugs spoons - on the surface, deep etc). Nothing - completely void of life. Lots of boats out there early in the am - all left after about an hour. Anyone have any luck out there lately?
We trolled there on Saturday for an hour and a half or so after deciding not to go out deep. We did not get any bites either.

We bottom fished there saturday and sunday afternoon. caught a bunch of small sheepshead and 1 nice 36" cobia on saturday then on sunday just more sheepshead and few baby groupas. we got alot of sea bass there the past december.
Trolled plugs there on Saturday for about 40 minutes…one barracuda. Picked up and headed to 440 hole and then to Y73. Tried plugs, spoons, ballyhoo. Ended up with one 14 pound king. Very slow day. August sort of sucks.
What did you catch the cobia on?
Thanks
