Anyone see any cobia out there? Saw a few on the cans on the way in mixed in with some Cuda. Those pesky cuda can full you.

No but I was looking. Saw one big cuda at the 60. Fooled me for a minute. Yellow marker was covered in bait.

While I have ventured to 4KI before, I wouldn’t ride to the 60. We were in the big boat headed deeper, but were hunting live bait.

caught one (cobia) out there about a week ago; 29 -30 ". Released.

Last time we were out there, about 2-3 weeks ago we stopped on the way back from trolling deeper. We were on the drift and two cobia came to the boat twice but wouldn’t take the pitch lures we had set up for Dolpin. Didn’t feel like re-tying, but they’re there if you’re interested in trying.
