Charleston Trip

in Oct. I will be taking a trip with some other guys (two boats) to the Charleston, SC area to do some red drum fishing. I hear that the Charleston area is really good during the Oct month for drum. We will be fishing for 2-3 days and hope to stay either on the water (with boat access) or near a boat access. We will need to hire a guide the first day and fish on our own the second day.

Questions:

  1. Do you have any lodging recommendations? We do not have to stay in charleston. Anywhere from mcclellanville - Chalreston will be fine. Which area would you recommend?

  2. Do you have any charter guide suggestions for the suggested locations?
