CharlestonFishing App?

Not sure if this is the right place for this discussion and I am unsure whether this has been asked before, but why has there not been an app made for CF? Would be great to be able to access forums from my phone. Don’t think it is terribly hard to make an app but a little time-consuming.

The Admin only needs to link the website to Tapatalk and you could access the forums via that app.

And by using Tapatalk…CF.com could reach a broader audience by listing under forums for fishing. Lot of the cell phone forums such as XDA, Android Central and others are there.

Lots of places use Tapatalk. My sports board Palmetto State Rivals uses tapatalk and it’s easy to use.

Your phone lacks a Web browser?

Isn’t it easier to tap an app that is already on your screen than it is to open a web browser? I have one for my bank, insurance company, etc…

Does your phones web browser not allow you to add favorites? I have one tap access to CF from my droid already

CF.com is my homepage, I have one tap getting straight to the all forums page. Easy peasy.

Set a bookmark on your web browser to the Active Topics link above by your PM link. That way you can just go straight to it and see what topics have been started or replied to since your last visit. That’s just about as easy as it can be.

I demand you take down that official looking US Postage Stamp avatar.

Nope, can’t do it. Bonzo made it for me.

Don’t be jealous.

I mean sure it’s easy to pull it up on Chrome on my phone but would be a lot easier if there was an app. Considering how slow web browsers can be and potentially crash from time to time

Just a guess but since this is a free site I doubt its worth the time and effort for Andy to pay for one to be built.

Honestly, whenever I pull up a mobile app (except maybe facebook which is pretty well built), I usually click on the “Go to full website” link if there is one…
