Fished a little north of straight out on Saturday, first fish we saw was a blue on a lure on the short rigger, did the windshield wiper and blew a big hole in the water and disappeared. Picked at the slinger mahi for a while and got away from them, missed a sail, came in to 350 feet and found the bait, released a couple sails, missed three more. then the had another blue hit the lure on the short rigger again, burned a bunch of line off and then it was gone. Awesome day when you can see 8 billfish. We also caught a nice blackfin and a thresher shark. Then, on Sunday, we found out how the bite can change. We caught one dolphin and one barracuda all day, had about 6 bites, super slow day for everyone out there that we heard on the radio. Both days were perfect weather days thought. Back at it on Tuesday.
