Boated 4 nice kings trolling spanish sardines. Lost the 5th king to a very large shark on the top of the water. 1 bite and all was left was the head. Put the head on a t50 wide and in about 10 sec the shark nailed it. Fought him for about 20 minutes and the roller bearing on the rod tip broke and eventually well you know the rest of the story… Very large shark though, fun while it lasted… Also caught the biggest Barracuda i’ve ever seen. All in all fun day, weather was perfect and for once it was a true wave forecast…

We lost a nice king to a very large shark as well not too far from the bouy yesterday. We missed three kings on sea witches and caught two on the smoke chokers, beautiful day yesterday and was definitely a true forecast.

We bought some at Wal Mart, but also we caught some or atleast i was told they were Spanish Sardines out at the reef. I could be wrong but thats what i was told. There is almost always a huge school of baitfish out there around the buoy. Take a cast net or Sabiki Rig and catch all you want. The kings were hitting alive and dead it didnt seem to matter. Our green king rig seemed to out fish most all other Colors we had out.
