Rolled out of Dewees at 530am for SW banks. Didnt take long for action to start. First fish that hit was a little tuny and while bringing it in 38lb bull inhaled the short rigger. Shortly after lines went back in had a couple of lines get popped out of the clips, dropped back long rigger and came tight on a sail. Made quick work of him. Had a wahoo cut off the flat line, then a few minutes later next wahoo hit the planer rod, made quick work of him with the old senator.
Started trolling out deep to do some sword drops and picked up another dolphin in 400 ft. Found a nice palmetto tree in 450 and started pulling dolphin in the boat fast as I could get baits rigged. NO bites on the deep drops. Ended the day with 13 dolphin, 36lb hoo, and a sail.
Headin out in the am for some spearfishing
