Getting off early today, going to take pops out in the boat and see if we can catch some of these trout everyone is catching. Picked up a couple of DOA popping corks and several bags of trout tricks. The game plan is to hit some structure on the wando and see if we have some luck. I have always fished fresh water, so I am in the learning phase of saltwater fishing. I get better with every trip and am able to soak up tons of info on this site thanks to those of you who share.
But honestly, today wont be as much about fishing as it is about spending quality time with my dad. Funny how your priorties change when you get older.

As far as fishing, I know you do pretty well with the bass in freshwater, so the inshore game should be no problem for you. You’re basically using the same techniques with artificials. Good luck, and have fun!
