Fished the chattooga again this past sunday with a buddy with beautiful weather and good stream conditions. Started fishing around lunchtime and headed back home around dark,my buddy managed 3 trout on a parachute adams and a conehead wooly bugger. Fish were mostly feeding subsurface all day long and began surface feeding around 5 in the evening worked a small section most of the day that was holding some large browns but they were finicky and would not touch anything. Saw plenty of smaller fish rising and a bunch jumping jumping but didnt have the flies to match the hatch, seemed to be very small mayflies, will make sure to have those in the fly box next time.
