I could believe his story! When I was in the service I met a couple of really nice girls, but most were not the kind to take home to Mom. Most either had a point to prove or knew how easy it was to get a man no matter how they looked or acted while in the service. Can’t blame them, if I was born a Homely Girl and wanted to have the option to have a different guy every weekend I’d have signed up. This is the kind of thing that gets into the politically correct speech, but it is what it is.
