Found this video on youtube and ordered two 8’ poles. Ordered around 3pm. on Friday and it was on my doorstep the next day at 9:30am. They ship out of Atlanta. I paid about $100 for them shipped to my door. Hope to try them out today if the weather holds up. Will let y’all know how they work.

Nice. Was thinking about using rebar, I think this will be easier! Good post!
I have made one from a 8’ galvanized grounding rod that can be picked up at lowes or home depot for $9.00
Works great. I have used it in water up to 12’ deep. It’s heavy enough that it will
“spear” through the water and still stick at that depth. I’ll post pictures of it later.

First pic shows the anchor leaning against the boat. I have a 3/4" piece of conduit that the rod goes into, so it doesn’t cause any damage to the boat. The second shows the connection with a stainless steal connection. You will have to drill the hole for this, but it’s easy.
Can someone tell me (or PM me) how to load pictures directly into my post? Can’t seem to do it right…thanks
Used it Sunday and worked perfect with the high wind and current.
