“Fish On”
I used to have bass in a large aquarium when I was a kid (illegal, I know), and they are VERY teritorial during certain times. I have watched bass of similar size strike at each other repeatedly. I doubt that scenario on the video was an attempt to EAT the other fish. It probably struck at it in the head region causing them to get stuck. You never know though. Fish don’t have mirrors, so I would think it hard for them to know exactly what will or will not fit in their mouths.
thanks for the ■■■■■■■■…it is wild huh!? and whys is it illegal to have bass in an aquarium? because it’s a game fish? not much dif in having them in your back yard pond(besides gettin to watch em)then in your living room…how bout bream or something of that nature?

Pretty cool! I saw the same situation on Lake Hartwell in Upstate SC in the mid 1990’s. We got them apart and both swam away. There were not cell phones back then so no picks but a great fishing story!
Had a 75 gallon aquarium as a kid. We had a 2 lb Bass in it and about 5 red breast. If the redbreast ventured to his half of the tank he would ram them in the side. Once they left his side he just relaxed. He wouldn’t go to the side the redbreast were on until I dropped a few crawfish in for them all to eat. We had the bass about 1.5 years and he probably got up to 3.5 lbs or so. Extremely territorial. Very interesting to watch how he was calm until they came too close.
