Nice fish guys. Glad you had a good trip. That is one awesome fishery. What marker numbers were you fishing at? Last I heard they were headed down from the upper end.

Marker 13 down to just below 8 is where we fished. One of our best stands was Saturday right outside Cardinal. Spoons and down rods over 32-55 feet of water.

Fogman, Looks like you guys almost cleaned out Cherokee!
I called you after you had left to tell you they were schooling in my area again. A friend caught several keepers near here Friday afternoon on the spoons. I’ve been under the weather and haven’t been out except for a couple of hours late on Christmas day. I hope to get out there and catch a few in the coming weeks. Sunday a friend was hooking some near here in 52’. I heard the rivers were pretty dingy after this last rain.
Sorry you’ve been under the weather. I’m planning to do some perch jerkin’ with Diddy on Saturday. They should be right for spoons and minnows.
We put most of the fish we caught on Cherokee back. We kept 6 Friday that filled the box and fried them up Saturday night… Good times! Good eatin’!
As for the LM rivers, dingy water doesn’t scare me. I’ve caught very good fish in copper colored water:sunglasses:
