I live on the south end and had never made it up to Cherry Grove until Saturday. Fished early on the incoming tide. We picked up 10 keepers. 5 of them 20+". Threw back another 6. We caught them on a mix of Mullet and artificials. Great day on the water!
Nice catch!

Wow, 5 over 20" is great. Thanks for posting that.
Good Job I want some !
Excuses satisfy only those who make them.
I fish CGrove about twice a month and haven’t had a day like that this year and never on artificials. Care to share how it’s done on the arties? Congrats.

Thanks J Lee. I’ve learned so much from these forums I am happy to pass on some knowledge. We were fishing 6" white Gulp Jerk Shads right under the boat on Carolina rigs. We were giving them a little up and down action. We might have just caught a good day. Everyone around us were pulling up fish too.

Nice, thanks for the heads up Strick. Gonna give those Jerk Shads a try. Wouldn’t have been on my radar otherwise.

I saw a boat like that’s in your pic in Cherry Grove on Saturday Strick. Was that you? Did you do any good?
Man that’s a yeti full of nice fish!
JohnBoy that is my buddy’s boat. He did go out on Saturday. He sent me a pic of one keeper. I can’t wait to get back up there. I haven’t had any luck in Pawleys this week.

That’s a fine ride. Last Saturday was slow for sure. Hopefully at it again in the morning.
