Metal trades was perfect just no trout in two hours of casting everything but the kitchen sink.Water temp was 54 and clear to 5 feet.Penny Creek was the same except clear to 3 feet.Water temp was 55.The only plastic hit was the Chicken boy.About 8 trout all 11 inches or smaller.I had minnows in my pen 3 days ago.TodaY THE PEN WAS EMPTY???
What a diff 4 degrees made in water temp.Last trip water was i thing 58 to 59.I tried fishing deeper and still no trout to speak of.I did try other spots as well as the trades but fishing was very slow.Live shrimp or minnow on the bottom would have killed the trout.The ones we caught were small and still hit the bait pretty hard.Will try again later this week maybe sat or sunday depending on the wind.Rain no problem.

Thanks for the report…I also hope the rain doesn’t keep me off of the water this weekend…I do have rain jackets and a poncho on board tho!
