Must be, unless he has 2 boats!

Barracuda can elaborate in a BIG WAY on the CHIRP info.
When he talks CHIRP, only Phin can speak in that type of tongue:smiley:
Carry On!

OK! Waiting for him.
Not sure. So far I’ve had so much bounce with boat, can’t see difference versus traditional SONAR. Point is to distinguish fish from structure and see more details, but I’ve not yet seen using 12" Simrad evo2. Expect motion of boat blurs everything. Last time out, both showed fish and they were there.
Structure Scan is better story with amazing images to sides and underneath.

Thanks Ona! Just want to gather some info, before I spend the money!
Easy, just a thought.
Throw out some info as to what you would like to use it for.
Knowing how to utilize what is at your fingertips makes a BIG difference…just like that puter you are using:smiley:1

Some fresh water and near shore fishing! Think I can get a CHIRP that will let me use 1 finger like this puter does:question:
If you’ve not already done so, you can go to www.thehulltruth.com and get many people’s experiences and screen shots, with CHIRP. Whether you buy CHIRP or not, your transducer selection is important, taking into account what you want to do, and how much you are willing to spend.
Good luck. The new technology is amazing.
