I picked up a boat/trailer/motor today for a good price, and knew the motor had some issues.

Took it out on the Ashley today and it will crank and run but just has a lot of throttle issues, chokey idle, and no top-end at all (I am getting maybe 2/3 throttle with any consistency).

Also, won’t go into reverse, the shift seems jammed. Goes into forward/neutral just fine.

Looking for suggestions for reliable place to have take a look at it. I might be able to do some of this myself but time isn’t on my side. It’s either work on the motor, or fish… not able to do both lol.
