i have the b175 H and L. they work pretty well in moderately deep water (under 1000’)
i am just figuring out how to tweak the gains so that when you run over snapper and grouper in 1-200’, they show up as individual fish instead of a cloud. even set in dummy mode though, they dont miss anything.

How deep can you see fish and structure with the B175L
Thanks
I am not sure about mine. With the boat bouncing, I can’t see a clear difference between Chirp and traditional, on a 12" Simrad Evo2. Very calm water would be a better test, since the boat movement blurs everything.
But I can say the things you see with structure-scan or the equivalent, are amazing. You don’t see the fish, but you can see incredible detail of structure.

I just got a TM150M to use with a Garmin 741XS for bottom fishing in 200-700’ in AK. I’ve been using a 741XS with a traditional sonar setup and am looking forward to seeing the difference in performance.
