i recently noticed that one of my 200hp ox66 motors was burning more oil than the other one so i talked to a few people and they told me to adjust my oil rods so i looked in the shop manuel and did it the way the book told me to my motors are burning alot less oil the last trip i burned 100 gallons of fuel and only burned 1.5 gallons of oil (192oz)wich at 50:1 that really is not enough oil does the oil valve change the oil ratio at different rpms if i was pre mixing the gas i would need 260oz for 100 gallons of gas they are 2000 model efi 0x66 yamahas

the oil pump output ratio does change based on rpms rpms

so does that means its not always based on 50:1 and my motors are getting the right amount of oil all i did was set the oil valve lever back to the stop while the shifter was in the neutral position just like the book said

it is not always 50-1
