Fishing sure has been slow lately,haven’t caught anything on live bait in 2 months,u-rigs and crankbaits are all i can get hit…

What area were you pulling U-rigs in? Im thinking abt going Wed a.m. if any1 wants to join. Boat in Hollow Creek. Not sure if I wanna go up gap near alcopulco (sp) and pull or look for birds. Bait still up and everywhere or not now?

I fished from Hawleek to Buffalo on Thursday. Seemed like bait was pretty thick in areas along the east side of the lake. Hawleek and Buffalo didn’t seem to have as much. A guy from the midlands striper club just got a 25#er on a little spoon jigging for perch. Downsizing bait might be a good idea, seems like a good pattern when the lake temp drops. I read an article saying striper digest the small threadfin better when the water gets cold and slows their metabolism.

Who from MSC caught it? Haven’t been to club meeting since end of year party in 200e year I think. Lee never failed. He took me out at 15 or 16 yrs old with his youngest boy and we fished beards and caught 30+ that day…Mainly chasing birds and tossing to them…Had a blast that day…I remember he would limit out by 830 and got home til weigh in as we would fish til 3pm weigh in and bring in just a couple.

Fogman, nice guy. He probably remembers my dad Tato…Justin still fishing. He was about my age. He had started running his own crew when I stopped fishing the tournaments…fogman still running the show? I know he was running the tournaments and that he became president at one point.?
