Christmas Greeting

I would like to wish ever one a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year: Good luck fishing in 2015. And remember a picture goes a long way so please take a picture and let the big fish go so others can have the fun and thrill you had.

I have found that pictures on fish just don’t taste as good as the original fish. While I agree 100% with this being done by people who plan to mount the fish as a trophy, for those of us who fish in the hopes of filling our belly, it just doesn’t work out too well… Merry Christmas to you as well!!

channel cat, I strongly agree more people should take photos and release. Depends on what I’m catching but I usually keep enough for one meal for my wife and me. I live at Harry’s Fish Camp half the time and it bothers me to see a couple hundred pounds of fish hung up on the board for bragging rights. It’s especially nice to see a guide promoting more release but it makes so much sense. Guides who promote catch and release are protecting their way of making a living.
