Christmas trips

Anyone taking any trips? Wife and kids are heading to PA so I have free time. Starting a new job soon so im not sure what my schedule will be.

I’m trying everything in my power to do a run to VA Beach for striper fishing.

Im thinking a FL trip or a trip in the upstate somewhere

Big Island, Hawaii. 12/25 thru 1/4/10. Step daughter says we’re gonna do some ocean kayaking while I’m there. We’ll see about that…

I’m so excited I can barely cope,
I sizzlin’ like an isotope.

Guys if you do something I would be willing to try and get the time off work. Havent gotten the yak wet in a while, been taking the boat out to much. Bought a new fly rod yesterday so will be taking the yak in the grass soon.

If you plan a trip and want the company Email me ucfmis@aol.com

Don’t waste your time takinf the flyrod to the grass this time of year. There are some cruisers on the flats, but that’s ALL I’ve seen for the past 6 weeks. Plan on low tide skinny water and look for schools this time of year.

What TooBusy said… You can always pick a few up blind casting but if you can find the schools work the out side edges and you’ll have better luck. Mostly this time of year they are sunning in the grass and not actively feeding… if ya find one moving you’ll have a shot, shrimp patterns and clousers will work best around this time of year…
