Anyone get any good fishin stuff?
I’m not sure how much this will improve my fishing success, but I did wake up to find this on my boat. A gift from one of my sons.

Looks good. I didn’t get any fishin stuff, but I got a $100 gift card that will probably go towards it.

Picking up a family heirloom Whaler this weekend. It’s a 17’ Montauk purchased back when I was born and been in the family ever since. Freshwater, garaged/trailered its whole life with no bottom paint.
Going to move my engine over to it, and have my boat for sale minus the engine. jack plate, and ipilot. Will post pics when it’s in the yard.
Sticker looks nice!

Where is LTR?
I got a Garmin 501c fish finder/my son gave me a prosport 3 bank on board charger and my bride gave me a new am/fm/cd w/remote for my boat. it will replace the one that does not work . all in all a great bunch of gifts.
Striperskiff,
You might want to delete the last part of your first post. Broadcasting that you “could stop at LTR and drink as many beers as I want and still leave in the right boat”, isn’t setting a good example for younger boaters who might read it. To say nothing of DNR now knowing exactly which boat is yours. Just my humble opinion.

bigred, I couldn’t care less about DNR knowing my boat. The smiley face was meant to show I was joking. I have probably stopped at Liberty 3 or 4 times by boat for lunch or dinner when fishing since they opened.
With that said, it was definitely a bad joke and your first point is valid. Thanks for pointing it out (not being sarcastic). I’m going to edit it.
Happy New Years!
