Keep up the good fight “Chris Caudle”. Let us know when you really actually read the NT…

This is sadly funny…I understand it is difficult for you to keep insults, name calling and the chip you have on your shoulder against Catholics out of your posts. I recognize it, and it is why most every thread you participate in turns into a display of belligerence. You get yourself worked up and then go all over the place demanding answers to thirty random questions that take 90degree tangents and completely muddy the water. People just walk away from it.

The ‘alias’ part though…that’s a little funny - funny in the way odd people are funny. Worrying about whether a man who uses his real name on an internet forum is an ‘alias or not’ is odd. I think you care a little too much about being right on the internet.

There is another poster on this site who carries on much the same way you do here. Wonder why you two can’t discuss religion or politics without behaving like this?

As is also typical, you will have the last word…

“Let’s be honest. If you read the New Testament, you wouldn’t be Catholic.”…SkinneeJ

No, I will tell you what is funny... It's funny that you claim to know so much about my argument patterns when I have never before been in a head up debate with you, and I haven't been involved in any religious debates on this thread in months (even at that, it's pretty seldom that I do). Yet, you only "joined" the site less than a month ago, and came racing out of the gates with religion bait

Lots of people repent on death row; they generally sit in waiting for several years.

Lots of people who get a lesser penalty never repent.

Lots of people who don’t get death row for murder get set free a few years later and commit more violent crimes against their neighbors. Therefore, lots of people know that Mr. Caudle is making an irrational leap when he says that there’s no reason to worry that the “boys” in the case might kill again if not executed.

Lots of people realize that the criminal justice system of the world has nothing to do with the Forgiveness of God; there is a worldly penalty for crime and a heavenly consequence for sin; the two are not the same. If you steal a car, you go to jail. God forgives if you repent.

Lots of people realize that punishing criminals appropriately is the RESPONSIBILITY of the state to its citizens and the victims of crime.

Lots of people think ChrisCaudle behaved poorly and belligerently toward Skinneej here.

Lots of people judge the murderers in this case like Skinneej did, but only one person apparently judged Skinneej–and only Skinneej–for doing it. What’s worse–judging a band of murderers as what they obviously are, or judging a man for wanting law and order?

Lots of people wish Mr. Caudle’s Church had held its present position, opposing capital punishment, during the Middle Ages–a day late, and a dollar short.

Lots of blessings to all of you.

Take care.

Because there are 100’s if not 1000’s “Marley” & “Treyvon” cases going on all the time.

  • The main reason we heard about Treyvon, before ole Al and Jessie showed up, before the mainstream media showed up, before it became a circus… is because there was no arrest made. And there was little or no investigation or movement towards an arrest. The case needed to seen by a grand jury - it wasnt up to the cops to decide… we heard about the case because of the lack of “justice”. Then it became a media circus.

The Marley case was solved and arrests were made ASAP… the Treyvon case was going on for 6+ months, they knew the suspect, they knew it was a he said vs he said - and they did nothing.

I sort of agree that the lack of indictment was the reason Zimmerman’s case was made into such a show, but it’s simply untrue to say that the cops did anything wrong by not arresting him and that it wasn’t their call. That’s just not how it works. They DO have the right place and authority under the law to determine if there’s enough evidence of an actual CRIME before making an arrest and filing charges. That’s how the system works. They did not have sufficient evidence for the charges and didn’t believe he committed a crime, so they did what happens 10,000 times a day. They let an innocent man go free. Then, when the “civil-rights” circus made the case go to trial, the jury confirmed that the police had done the right thing all along–in NOT filing charges that they KNEW would NOT stick in a trial. It was a waste of time and money.

What’s more interesting is that now that the jury has acquitted Zimmerman, the “civil-rights leaders” who “only seek social justice” STILL make a circus of it, STILL want MORE charges filed, and Zimmerman is STILL under threat of being murdered for defending himself. Meanwhile, the same “leaders” sit back and say NOTHING while black criminals commit hate murders against white people left and right, and the media downplays every case.

There’s definitely a bias in the atmosphere.

The Catholic Church doesn’t have a great record of being the most user friendly outfit. Even more recent actions such as the Pope being in concert with the nut job dictators who almost destroyed all of Europe and creating the Holocaust.
