I was wondering what everyone’s thoughts were on the best setup for catching a tarpon OTF in Charleston was?
Has it been done? Is the water to deep or low visabilty to sight cast for them. Or is it chum, chum, chum, and maybe you will get a lucky shot?
sinking, floating line, blind cast?

It has been done before…there is a good article on it when fuzzy davis did it in HH.
it’s doable without chum, been workin’ on it… gettin closer as i fed one a topwater lure yesterday… always, always have a 12wt rigged on board to be sure to capitalize if opportunity presents itself
