Buddy from Clemson and I went out on the kayaks to fish a grass line that we usually catch trout on, but the wind was pretty strong so trout weren’t there. Are trout generally not good fishing when it is really windy? We were using popping corks with salt water assasin on a jig head. A big ol redfish nailed his line and was his first redfish on the kayak! Was really hoping for some more fish, but better than nothing. We finally got rid of the curse of not catching redfish in the the church creek area. It’s about time! Great day fishing, and back to work for the next few days.
