Hey everyone, new to the site. My girlfriend’s parents live on church creek and luckily enough they have a little jon boat I take out from their dock. I’ve been fishing the Church Creek flats and a few areas close by. I can catch trout with no problem, but am having trouble finding any reds around that area. Do many of yall fish around or in church creek? Just trying to get my head around the area better. Thanks!
Yeah, I can’t find the reds. They aren’t there. I have been fishing in that creek for about 1 year now and havent catch one red ever. But from what I have heard, they are there. Just haven’t found em. Good luck though!
There a lot of reds in the Stono adjacent to Church Creek. Look for them at low time hanging close to the bank around structure and docks.

I don’t know. I’d be happy with catching trout all the time, I love trout. I would want to catch some reds though. Maybe when you wanna catch reds go to the Stono or something?

I’ve lived there my whole life, there are redfish in that creek, along with trout and flounder. Ride around at low tide and take binos
I start on johns island and head towards wadalamaw sound
there are spottail in every water way around here, even up some of the fresh/brackish rivers. just gotta hunt for them, this time of the year can be rough though. nothing wrong with a good trout bite though
