Pallet and company left me Saturday morning with a honey-do list 3 miles long to head out to the diving grounds. These are the pics he sent from his cell phone. Looks like I really missed out.
Was not as “epic” as Phin’s trip but we all know he and P1 are in a league of their own.
Dives where between 80 and 100feet
Water temp was 61 degrees.
Pallet tells me that the BSB were very thick on the bottom and that they stayed away from them while hunting. All were caught on the surface during down time.
Not bad for 4 divers. This is 2 missed trips in a row for me. Hopefully I won’t have to miss another.

Last couple of trips they have really gotten on the gags. One on the guys that went is the flounder king. He really has an eye for them on the bottom. I can never find them but he does. I will get some more detail for you this morning. The advantage to diving is there is no competition for your bait, don’t have to worry about the little bsb robbing your before you find a grouper.
The cooler??? Yea… they are pretty common. Really smart devices, you put ice in them and they stay cold but if you put somthing hot in there it will keep it warm. It really puzzles me how it knows when to stay hot or cool down.

Oh my bad. Yea it is a 31 contender when we go out we are going to bring home the groceries. Sometimes that results in filling both rear fish boxes. (front boxes are for dive gear) Most of our fish are to big to fit into laundry baskets i.e. the need for a cooler. Keep trying you will get there one day.
