Got on the water at daybreak. Fished near the air lines caught 1 fish that was about 30". Moved on up toward horseshoe island and picked up 3 more good fish. I think if we had went to this area first we would have had a lot better luck. We caught the 3 fish the time we got there and after that they moved on. Some schooling in the area but not nothing major.
we were out there sat -morn bite was slow but afternoon was on on fire --found em schooling around horseshoe and hamilton branch -picked up 12 in the 5-7 #range-most on topwater but a few on downrods–saw a school of hybrids school up like something you would see offshore-the water was literally “boiling” for about 10 min–almost couldn’t fish for wanting to watch that!

Good to here you had a good day on the water. I was out again this morning same and as in your post the morning bite was slow. We did manage to pick up 4 before going in. We had planned on going monday afternoon but it was windy here so we decided to go tue morning.I know what you mean. I have seen the hybrids there schooling like that down there before. It is really something to see. I hope to get to try the afternoon bite maybe thursday
