Despite the chance of rain and full moon I decided “the heck with it, I’m going fishing”! Told my 15 year old son to load the boat and lets go. Got my bait from Palmetto Angler in McCormick and headed to Parkesville. Put the boat in at the Parkesville Rec and headed toward the dam. While in transit, my lead came off the battery for my aerator and you could prolly guess what happened then.
. Looked around for some fish and I’m still trying to figure the Lowrance 5D out. Just had it installed about 2 weeks ago and havent been able to play with it much. Didn’t pick up on any fish so I decided to anchor down at the mouth of the little river and try for some big cats with the dead herring I had. Fished for about an hour and the bottom fell out. No fish, had fun, doing it again today! I’m tired of fishing in my sleep!!!
