Father-in-law fished on Fri. before Memorial Day weekend and wore them out. Went back with them on Memorial Day and wore em out again. Went back today and only managed to boat 2 fish. Every body else said they had the same luck. Got not idea what happened but they were hot and now they’re not. Slow trolled with planers and freelines. Cut bait guys around us didn’t do well either. Great day on the water though.
smoakin, going to Clark Hill this weekend, in the Cherokee Creek area, do you know if I can catch a striper in that area? If so what method is working the best? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m bringing my grands and I want to get them on something bigger than all the small bream around the dock.

Have not been lately, but have heard that the fish have moved to the main part of the lake. I’d look for bait and fish on the depth finder and fish herring on down rods around them. Good luck and watch out for these pop-up storms.
