Fished Parksville and Modoc area Mon and Tue, had a 20 fish limit both days. Fish Mon were in 35-45 feet of water on the bottom.Biggest striper was 10lb biggest hybrid was 8lb nothing under 3lb on Mon.
Tue biggest striper and hybrid were both 8lb, rest were 2-6 lbs., again in 35-45 feet of water.
Both days caught about half on live herring and half on cut bait.
Bite has been between 6:30-9:30am.

I had a great day on the Hill today! Could have been a tremendous day if I had boated the one that stripped 100 yards of line only to come unbuttoned after 7 minutes of working her back to within 75 feet of the boat! That was one of the bigger fish I’ve ever hooked! Good news is she’s still out there. As it was, I got a nice limit. In a 4 fish tournament, I probably would have had 36-40 pounds. Hope the trend holds for the MSC tournament on the 17th. Didn’t take a photo but took some hatcam video. I’ll hope to get it edited to share sometime soon.
I am starting to grow concerned about our Murray striper however.
