The MSC was represented well at the SBCC Clarks Hill - Wounded Warrior Project tournament with 3 of the top 5 places! Van and I finished 1st with a 34lbr and 29lbr for a total of 63 lbs. Chip Bragg finished 3rd with 39lbs and had the 2nd largest fish of the tournament with a nice fish just under 35lbs! Team Laid Back, David Richardson finished out the top 5 with 2 fish weighing 30lbs. A great day and showing for MSC!
Way to go guys!! Got any details?

Congrats to all the winners…Brad and Van…Chip, way to start off at the Hill man!!! And also Team Laid Back! I had the privilege fishing with David, Kevin and Tristian! Now Tristain might be a “youth angler” but he reeled that 21lber like a pro! Looked like we was play “ring around the boat” and rods were going everywhere but he got it in! Congrats y’all
very cool guys…beautiful fish…did yall catch any fish like that before the tournament too while prefishing?

If you’ve had fun catching fish on the transom bait, you are welcome…
I’ve spent about 85% of my life’s wages on fishing, the rest I just wasted…
Nice work guys indeed!

We did catch one 30lber Friday that gave us a starting point for Saturday. It was the only fish we caught Friday due to the wind and a slow bite with bigger fish so we didn’t have a lot of info. We went with what we thought might work. The biggest fish for the tourney was just shy of 40lbs, but the angler only had an 11 lb to back it up.

Did you use cut bait or down rods I caught several nice fish that weekend on the hill but did not fish the tournament
Pullin. I would say 95% of people were pulling but the big fish of the tx was caught on cut bait.
