Just traded in my f150 for a Ford Explorer. The Explorer came with a class 2 hitch. It states a tow limit of 3500 lbs and tongue weight limit of 300 lbs. Anyone else tow a 17.5 ft cc with a class 2 hitch?

CRM, that 1720 only weighs 1150 pounds dry weight. Add the motor and trailer and your still under the 3500 lbs. If you can pick the trailer tongue up by hand you should be OK there also.
