What woud you guys recomend for cleaning seat Vinyl. The white seat behind the center console has a slit red tint to it in areas. I;m not sure what has caused the stains. It not blood, and I do not believe it i from rust. I have tried the Vinyl cleaner from west maire without improvement.
Thanks
Is it possibly sunscreen? I know the coloring you speak of

Try soft scrub.
Double D.
Acetone
if its what I am thinking of, its color bleeding through from inside the vinyl. call the builder

I swear to you I believe it is from the spray sunscreens. MY boat gets it on the vinyl from time to time during the summer, it usually wears off after awhile and a few good washings.

Not sure what boat your running… but all 2006 Hydra Sports were covered under warranty for vinyl issues, similar to what your describing.
If its not that, then sunscreen, cheap vinyl, or age could all be the causes. The last two, cleaning isnt going to help much, because its deterioration of the vinyl.
If you use Acetone… put it on a rag, and wipe quickly. Changing to a different part of the rag everytime, but acetone WILL eat the vinyl if you are not very careful. If its colored vinyl, dont use acetone, because you will cause the color to fade, and bleed to other areas.

Those Magic Eraser sponges work wonders, on everything.
“Mess with me and you mess with the whole trailer park!”
Amen on the magic erasers. They get all kind of stuff off fiberglass and do not harm gelcoat.
"But there’s more! Try that Totally Awesome cleaner for the price of $1.00 plus tax at Dollar Tree stores. It’s a knock-off of one of the $19.95 TV “miracle cleaners”. It cleans vinyl great. I have an old boat bean bag that got moldy in storage and this stuff got it all off after other products had failed.
can’t beat the price, huh?

I talked to the builder. They believe its either the nylon backing under the vinyl or the glue between the vinyl and the backing. States probably not able to clean.
