Took out the tank of the boat. It appears to be polyethylene or plastic of some sort ( Key West boat). I have a great pressure washer. Should I use this in cooperation with some chemicals?
By looking down inside it looks like there is a film from the ethanol gas on the surface of the bottom at least. What chemicals, if any would anyone suggest? I can pick up the tank if sloshing is needed.
blueline; i might suggest checking out trisodium phosphate. can find it at your hardware stores. i used to use in to clean out chemical tanks when my golf supers would mix product wrong and turn the mix into jello. not expensive and worth the effort. good luck
