A few days ago when traveling back from offshore I saw on my radar what appeared to be rain. The cloud appeared to be about 3 miles long by 1 mile wide. Only problem was the sky was perfectly clear. I ran straight through the anomaly without experiencing any thing out of the ordinary. I’ve had about 20 years experience with boat radars and there was no alcohol on the boat at all. Any one else ever have this phenomenon happen to them?
ground clutter ,bad around A can
May have been the electromagnetic shadow of a mothership.
Can you account for all the time while you were out?
Have you noticed any incision sites?
Is your urine blue?
quote:I was 25 miles out returning to Edisto, no buoys or boats within 10 miles. Ocean was flat as a pancake that day.

Very well could have been temperature inversion…not uncommon in the ocean…only way to confirm it is to turn rain clutter on and off and see what happens to “the area” on the screen…no so bad during the daytime, but at night will definitely get your shorts wadded up cause you can’t see what it is (or is not)…
