Cleats and T-Tops!!

Just bought my boat this year, and after running it almost every weekend since I got it, I am realizing that that a T-Top would be a wonderful item to have! Also would like to get some flush mount cleats. I was wondering if anyone knows anyone locally in the Charleston area that will not charge me an arm and a leg for this stuff. Thanks in advance for help on this!

Check out www.marinepartdepot.com for stainless steel flush mount cleats. I put 2 on my boat a couple of years ago and they have held up well.

I have installed a few of those folding tops. I was not impressed by them at all. But… they are also about 1/3 cost of having top made for your boat too. So, if cost is the reason for going with one of those, then it may not be a bad option. I would rather save up a few more bucks and get a top made that will fit right. I think the last Fish Master top I put on did not seem to bad. It was a decent size top and looked to be made ok.

How much of a beating will the folding tops take if it gets a little rough?

Long Enuff

For a t-top that mounts only to the windshield/console rail, I would seriously consider beefing up the inside of the console at the rail mounting points.
