Just bought my boat this year, and after running it almost every weekend since I got it, I am realizing that that a T-Top would be a wonderful item to have! Also would like to get some flush mount cleats. I was wondering if anyone knows anyone locally in the Charleston area that will not charge me an arm and a leg for this stuff. Thanks in advance for help on this!
T-Topless comes highly recommended, they are one of the sponsors of this site.
Take a look at the Pioneerownersclub[cannot remember who on here is apart of it] they maybe able to help you out. If not call Chas.Marine[also a sponsor] I’m sure Chris V could help ya.
www.fishmaster.com check out there t-tops i ran my boat with one on it for 6 months straight everyday you cant find a bigger or better t-top for the money
SeaChoice Pull-Up Cleats are 316 Cast Stainless Steel, available in 5-1/4" or 7", require 3-1/2" below deck clearance and are the least expensive on this list.
I have installed a few of those folding tops. I was not impressed by them at all. But… they are also about 1/3 cost of having top made for your boat too. So, if cost is the reason for going with one of those, then it may not be a bad option. I would rather save up a few more bucks and get a top made that will fit right. I think the last Fish Master top I put on did not seem to bad. It was a decent size top and looked to be made ok.
For a t-top that mounts only to the windshield/console rail, I would seriously consider beefing up the inside of the console at the rail mounting points.
