I will go ahead and post a topic for all you coot bandwagon fans to move onto before this Saturday’s loss to Georgia. My advice to you is to do what you have historically done during tough times and focus on hating Clemson.
I predict Clemson will upset Free Seafood U. in their own house next week.
How does that crow taste? You forget THE University OF South Carolina has whipped up on Clemson the past 5 years. Just because UGA rolled over the orange and purple does not automatically mean they beat the Cocks. The Cocks are head and shoulders above Clemson presently.Maybe Clemson can upset FSU and save the season. Nobody gave the Cocks a chance and they sure proved everyone wrong. Good luck.
Just to get back on track.
I’m not sure what to make of this game yet. Clemson has only played UGA, huddle run first team. FSU is a no huddle pass first team.
on the other side FSU has only played OKst. Which is similar to Clemson, just not as fast.
IMO Clemson has great chance for an upset. I don’t think FSU is nearly as good as last year. I would still give the edge to FSU because it is a home game.
I don’t think FSU is near as good as last year either, but I think their defense is better than Georgia’s. They are currently a 19/20 point favorite over Clemson. We know Clemson can score points on SC state, but the FSU defense is a different story. I’m glad SC doesn’t have to play them.
Side question; has Phin ever got a prediction right?
Clemson still won’t win this game… If FSU gets down, Jimbo will come up with an excuse as to why FJ’s punishment is over early. There’s no integrity in today’s college football world.

I agree completely, except, if you are watching the unfolding Jonothan Dwer thing, Winston is a future monster and this issue is a hot topic. He is a liabilty.
Famous Jameis has a string of immature, irresponsible behavior. Of course he is young, and of course he is being like most other freshmen and sophomores in college. “Of course.”
Stephen Garcia says hello.
It isn’t the mistakes… it’s how you respond to them. Jameis has never had playing time taken from him. He’s literally big man on campus. The administrations of schools do not like this, whatsoever. Nobody is bigger than the program or school, and when there’s continual negative light cast on a university, you know what’s coming.
Someone needs to get Maurice Clarett to talk to Jameis before it’s too late. I see the same exact attitude in Jameis when he held a press conference to say, “sorry I got caught, but my team is still gonna win.” There’s no humility. That is the difference between him and other students his age who would have been caught and kicked out of school for less. He still has the cocky, I’ll do whatever I want because I’m the man, attitude.
Leadership like that won’t last. It can’t. Sooner or later people realize that the guy beating his chest isn’t really going to ever put somebody else before himself because he literally believes there is nobody on this earth better than him.
Now, re: Clemson v. FSU…
If any of you coots actually watched the game last year, or the last time you played FSU, you would understand what they’re about. They have great speed and depth on defense, and they have good pass blockers. They have lost quite a bit to the NFL just as Clemson has- it’s just that Clemson’s defense SHOULD be better this year. Last year’s game was a disaster, and Jameis was too cocky and stupid to care about playing on the road. That’s obviously how he’s gotten where he is, and that’s fine. The guy isn’t invincible though. If you look at how BC kept their game close with FSU last year, it was by possessing the ball and not making mistakes. They do the same thing to Clemson. Clemson has to vary it’s game plan to not tr
SC beat FSU 3 times a long time ago. Then again they have only played each other once in the last 23 years so most of their games were a long time ago.
Clemtech could not beat FSUs marching band in a football game. FSU has nearly everyone back from last year. Clemson lost its greatest unemployed quarterback who was released by the jets and its best wide receiver. Clemtech will be lucky to do better than the Citadel’s 37-12 loss.

First off, Garcia’s biggest problem was always the bottle, not his mouth.
Second, I wish you were right, but you’re dead wrong. Scam Newton set the playing field for animals like Famous Jameis to come after him. This is a trend that we will see continue and eventually lead to the paying of student athletes and the downfall of major college football as we know it.
Its the fans’ fault really, just like in baseball. You want homeruns like have never been seen in baseball history? Look the other way while I jam this needle in my backside. Problem solved. The NFL just this year outlawed the use of HGH…THIS YEAR…sad state of affairs and its only getting worse.
