I was wondering if any body had any climbing stands for sale , after useing my buddys today i decided thats what i wanna try to hunt out of this year . and if no one has one for sale do yall have any suggestions on an affordable yet safe climbing stand all help is great thanks in advance

I’m not sure what you would consider affordable but take a look at the Gunslinger. It is by far the most comfortable climber I’ve ever used and is almost impossible to fall out of. In fact the worst thing about it is trying to stay awake! I bought mine at the Palmetto Sportsman’s Classic which is next weekend in Columbia.

Y’all fellas have got to be joking about the gunslinger stands! Impossible to fall out of? Those things barely grab the tree at all, period. I wouldn’t dare climb anything but a pine with one, and I’m speaking from experience, ancient technology when it comes to tree stands. You need to find a summit viper and buy a good comfortable harness. I will keep an eye out for one. You don’t want to find out the hard way that your climber sucks, I’ve done it and thank god I wasn’t higher off the ground, and it was in a gunslinger.

^^This. Get you a summit you won’t regret it. I have the summit viper and i love it. Virtually grips any tree. Extremely comfortable. I have sat in a summit 180 as well. It is comfortable also. Either get you a summit viper or the summit 180.

Get a Summit Viper. End of story. Great stand and you cant beat the comfort.

go on line to sportsmans guide magazine. they have a pretty good selection at decent prices. not real knowledgeable on them because i use a ladder stand and tower stands and the ground blind.

I’ve been using it for 8 to 10 years now and climb all types of trees. I’ve NEVER had a single incident.
