Clouter Creek Impolite boater

Decided to hit clouter after a short while in GC (Reds Released). Fishing Clouter with a nice flow out going tide and saw this 24’blue seafox approaching. Thought he had a question after I’d just put a Nice flounder in the boat. He was well within 50’ af me fishing

Instead he with the family pulled up to cut me off and started fishing. I politely trolled across the river caught a few more trouts and shortly after he came to the other side trailing me. I’ve read these type complaints but never experienced it until yesterday. No harm I still caught fish.

There are quite a few spots around Clouter that get some pressure and you have to deal with it. Then again, there are plenty of boat owners that have way more money than sense. Many times I have had other boaters throw a huge wake up on me while I was fishing alone and standing on the bow, just to cross that creek.

Nice fish by the way.

KOBP deserves respect and much more than 50’

Paparazzi…news that you are the KOBP is getting out:sunglasses:

Thanks for the laugh and I don’t let minor things as this affect a good day on the waters.

Sometimes if the people are right on top of you and they’re jerks…I’ll hook one and let them see me fight it and then give slack line and act like it got off “ah man!” and then bam start fighting like it’s back on again! You should see their faces!

Fatrat, I think you have developed a reputation and a following When people see you fishing, they just have to follow

You’ve got those flatfish pegged, one of the hardest fish to master IMO. Good fishing my friend:sunglasses:

Nice fish… I would rather someone came and fished next to me than rolling me with a wake. Jet skis are targets made for fresh water…Just sayin’

Nice fish!!

fatrat is the king of flounder fishing among other things!

i am beginning to think fatrat is using his dog to track the trout and that is how he finds them, maybe we are giving to much credit to him and not enough to his dog, just a thought, a trout and flounder dog, just a thought, lol i will be watching, but from a distance

I wouldn’t Have a Mind I couldn’t change!!

Cracker Lary & paintball you guys may have a point. Since Poochee and I have been fishing and she’s excited to hit the water once I pick up her life vest, I have had some good luck and she enjoys getting in the picture once I’m set up. Dropped a crab in the boat the other day and all i heard was crunch crunch until she finished that crab. Who knew? No harm the rivers are wide enough and long enough for us all and the fish are everywhere you just have too find them.

That’s the best attitude to have, FR. Aint no need in getting mad, plenty of places to fish out there when you know how, and you sure seem to know how:sunglasses:

Dang dog of mine is hard to fish with, he thinks it’s his duty to retrieve anything thrown, including popping corks. And when the cork goes under he thinks it’s his duty to go get it and pull it back up :face_with_head_bandage:

Hell, I want to inch up to you to learn how you are catching all the nice floor mats you keep posting! I would be polite enough to ask though…

ok i got skunked today fishing Bushy Park, i am willing to puppy sit poochee and furnish boat and bait just say when and i will even take fatrat with us i need to know how to fish for flounder and am willing to lear from the Master Poochee

I wouldn’t Have a Mind I couldn’t change!!

Fatrat, I love your reports, and you really are the KOBP! But I think you really should give thought to Not posting exact creeks. I’m sure more people are fishing Bushy, and all the upper Cooper creeks now. It’s bound to happen more and more now… Maybe it doesn’t bother you, but others who fish the same area may not want all the attention…
This post wanted intended to spark an argument or take offense. So please dont!
Nice fish BTW, I’m not the only one when I say I’m envious of your posts alot

Yakman, i understand your concern about not wanting 90 boats in your favorite spots, but just because someone knows where to fish does not mean they can catch the fish, from most of the posts i have read on here the spots that are talked about are all pretty well known, but again it comes down to ability, i was skunked today and i know i was fishing in hot spots but my ability is limited,or the fish were not hungry, so with that said if the fish are not going to bite we move on to another spot and as i grow as an angler my favorite spots will be special as well, , i guess i am trying to assure you that there will be fish in your spots all along, i appreciate all the help i can get and i think most people will try hit or miss and move on, and this is not an attack or negative thought toward you at all, just a newbies opinion and some reassurance that most people that read theses post already know where the majority of those spots are…IMHO

Yakman72 point taken, no arguments from me. I don’t have a hotspot. I continue to move to find fish. There are times I get to my area and the fish are schooled up and I have a blast. Days later nothing. A number of you guys have sharpened my skills by reading your reports and different lures and areas to fish.I always believe in trying something different. Wando is definitely on my fishing list. I release the avg Red I catch but enjoy a meal of trout and flounders. Hard releaseing these this time of year. Either way I enjoy the reads, opinions (p & N),sportsmenship and challenge of the waters. See one of you in my spot soon!
