FYI,the DNR has extended the “No Wake Zone” on Clouter Creek.
This is up by the DI Marina? The one down by the docks is not a DNR zone, I believe…
Thanks for the notice

If you’re heading towards the harbor, there’s another “No Wake” buoy past the docks. It looks official??
I believe this was discussed last year and the general consensus was that the bouy no wake zone was fake and the one marked with signs after you go under the bridge heading towards DI marina was real. I’ll add that I’ve received a strong cussing on two seperate occasions by disregarding the bouy no wake zone by the owner of the snow bird ditch plow.

I agree…the one down past the docks heading towards the harbor was probably put there by one of the dock owners to slow down the boats coming from the marina. We’ve had some evil stares when going a little too fast through there so we generally just go slow to keep from ticking anyone off. I did not see a DNR sticker on that marker either so I am thinking that it is bogus.

Checked both buoys out by the docks yesterday. You’re correct, they are not DNR buoys.
I appreciate this info.
