Has anyone had any luck shrimping Clouter creek?
I have not. It could be great, but the shrimp tend to be bigger the closer you get to the ocean. My guess is they would be fairly small there. I went with a friend one time about the same distance from the harbor on the Wando side of Daniel and we got logs of tiny shrimp.
I fish up in yellow house all the time on the lower side. I havent seen the first shrimp up that way. My guess would be with all the fresh water coming down the cooper with the dams open up wide this year that you would be better off over on the Wando side. Shrimp have been non existant in my stomping grounds where I usually catch them when casting for bait. Plenty of mullet and Hadens but no scrimps.
