Last week I made my first post and had a lot of great ■■■■■■■■. I’m still new to the inshore scene but I want to say thanks to everybody posting such great information. I spent the day in the clouter creek area and, for having never been in there before, had some decent success.
I went out today at sunrise and hammered the trout on topwater! I caught 4 in a matter of minutes! I was using a white super spook jr and just walking the dog. The trout couldn’t stand it. Definitely a blast even though I haven’t caught a red on topwater.
After that I waltzed into Beresford creek. I caught an over slot Red (23.5 inches) and an under size flounder. I completed my first slam in my sixth trip inshore fishing, all on artificials! All in all it was a great day. I landed six fish total, my first slam, and in an area I have never been to. All the help and advice and research has definitely payed big dividends. Thanks!
