Hello, This is Shannon with Coastal Custom Knifeworks. Don’t know what happened to my old login as (gierhed) I have been away for a little while so I had to register. I do make my own blades save for some of my fillet knives as I have not perfected the heat treating process for those yet and a few stock small hunting knives for retail. Oyster knives are my specialty and and are quite unique as I offer the with a bottle opener option with the butt end. I have also started making sheaths which are not shown yet on my site. Shannon, what stainless do you use ?
My oyster knives are 304 for corrosion resistance. For my others knives it would generally be 440C, CPM 154CM or 52100.
