Wasn’t it like 8.0 tides during the flooding a couple of weeks ago? 8.1-8.4 forecasted for tomorrow morning…yikes!

between 7.5 and 7.8 feet mean lower low water in Charleston
Harbor… and between 9.4 and 9.7 feet mean lower low water at
fort Pulaski. Additionally… tides will be larger Tuesday
morning. The Tuesday morning high tide is expected to peak
between 8.1 and 8.4 feet mean lower low water in Charleston
Harbor… and between 10.1 and 10.3 feet mean lower low water
at fort Pulaski.
So I looked on Facebook and lots of people I know, people who should know better, are showing photos of very high water on docks and waterside areas with comments like “OMG! What’s happening!” or “I’ve lived in this house 5 years and never seen it this high!” and “Is it another flood?” etc
LOOK AT A (**() TIDE CHART PEOPLE! See that number? That one that’s bigger than any number for the past decade or so? That means it’s going to be a really, really high tide today.
