headed out to the ledge after cancelling sat due to weather, should have stayed home again today! tired of the beating in 100’ and didn’t want to waste the livewell full of pins. put a 55lb & 24lb cobia in the boat along with a few other bottom dwellers along with a bunch of AJs with shoulders. first set of divers didn’t pull the trigger even though the viz was 50’,82 on the top and 72 on the bottom. next up realfish01 and myself dropped to the bottom and were met with some of the biggest beeliners i have ever seen. eric dispatched a few scamps, the biggest @17lbs and I shot a cobia around 50lbs that pulled the spear as he dragged me along the bottom! dodged the storms on the way in and made a bottom drop in 60’ gaining a few flounders to the bag. had a lot of fun aboard no limit with the benford family, ben and realfish01. not the numbers we are used to, but real quality meat today.
