The fish are thick at all the humps in the broad. Something odd happened today. We had a fish eat the far right eel rod then the far left greenie goes down. The same fish ate both. There ya go

I’ll believe just about any story about cobia.
I wish they would take just one of my baits…

Giving it a go for the first time on Thursday in the Broad. Dumb question, but humps mean literally humps? Changes in bottom?

Yes, you want to set up on a current rip over a bar with your baits in the rip. The humps are sandbars roughly scattered in the middle of the river. There are 4 major ones and a few minor ones between the bridge and the ocean. All of them are on your chart, but right now they will be well marked by anchored boats. You can’t miss them
Generally speaking, the deep parts of the Broad run about 30-40 feet. The humps about 20 or less, depending on tide. I usually anchor on the down current side of a hump and position the baits in the rip, top to bottom. Just look at how the other boats are positioned, and don’t anchor in someones chum slick.

yep on a weekend you will see boats on top of all of these spots! sometimes 30-40-50 boats! and right again on giving space … especially at the bridge, you will see rows of boats, literally like a parking lot!- just dont try and squeeze in betwen em… people get very territorial and plus you dont want a fish to cross lines or get wrapped in someones anchor line.
