Federal waters commercial will mimic the possession and boat limit rules for rec but with the 33" FL. Commercial is allocated around 5% of Total Allowable Catch.
COBIA Closed in State waters until April 30 per SC DNR.

Cobia opened January 1 2018 in federal waters. Cobia harvest open in SC waters when season open in federal waters except when quota is exceeded and federal waters closed to recreational harvest which is what happened in March 2017. SC state waters in special cobia management zone south of Jeremy Inlet to Georgia line closed to harvest in May.
