Anybody know anything about this gizmo? Sounds like a great idea and I saw on TV that it has a 50 mile range, which may or may not be true.
i have one it works great, loud as a mo fo(can quiet it down). you can have an address book etc just like a cell. i have a new h2oproof phone and dont hook it up much but it is a great porduct. esp if you have $$$ phones are are prone to screw ups. ive never dropped a call, and it is clear on either end. you can pair several phones to it, but only one can be inuse at a time.
it works on a signal, not line of sight, so your phone can be in a dry bag in a hatch and still get a signal.
i don’t understand how it can work farther offshore than your phone can. its chained to the phone isn’t it?
